20 Crochet Christmas Decor for 2023

Does anyone else feel like we start Christmas extra early this year? I feel like I’m late to the game! I heard a study that said people who decorate for Christmas earlier are happier, and I’m starting to see why! My husband and I try to take the more traditional approach of waiting until after Advent to put up decorations, but I have a special playlist of “Winter Cheer” songs like “Frosty the Snowman” and “Jingle Bells” that I can listen to without guilt. Something about throwing on some festive music as I sip on a Peppermint Mocha and crochet for the holidays really brightens my spirits, especially given the gloomy weather recently. Whether you haven’t put decorations up yet or put them up weeks ago, there is some crochet Christmas decor for everyone to enjoy! Let me know which one is your favorite!

Coasters

Who else loves switching out their seasonal crochet coasters for the different holidays? I know I do! I have designated spots in my kitchen, office, and drink bar for my coasters so that I have an excuse to make multiple styles for every holiday!

These crochet coasters from Crochet 365 Knit Too are just plain adorable! And that hot chocolate looks delicious! Might have to get some yarn and brew up a cup right now!

These candy coasters from Heartspun by Wendy really bring out that holiday spirit! These are the perfect crochet Christmas decor to throw together for a last minute holiday party!

This poinsettias from Sew Happy Creative are gorgeous! These make great statement pieces for your home or sweet housewarming gifts for someone you love!

Kitchen Decor

Especially during the holiday season, we spend so much time in our kitchens making delicious holiday treats… so all the more reason to welcome in some crochet Christmas decor into your baking space and bring some festive cheer!

How adorable would it be to have this lovable snowman from A Crocheted Simplicity greeting you every time you walk into your kitchen? So cute!

I couldn’t decide which one of A Crocheted Simplicity‘s kitchen towels I loved more… so I added both! Which one is your favorite?

Looking for some festive potholders? These ones from Leelee Knits are great for neutral lovers, but would also be super cute in other colors too! What colors would you make these with?

Hear me out… what if you made this snowman potholder from Nana’s Crafty Home, A Crocheted Simplicity’s snowman kitchen towel, AND Crochet 365 Knit Too’s snowman coasters? Am I too obsessed with snowmen or am I a genius?

Pillows

I feel like pillows are one of the perfect crochet Christmas decor patterns. They are faster than a blanket, but they can decorate a couch, a chair, or even a guest bed! So many fun options!

I love that this pillow from Lindsay Dye Handmade is literally shaped like a Christmas tree! What a cool idea!

This pillow really encompasses what the Christmas season is all about: joy! This crochet Christmas decor pattern from Seacliffe Cottage is sure to bring you that peace and joy that makes this holiday season so special!

Even though blankets take longer, they are such a beautiful labor of love. My Unbreakable Bond Blanket took me roughly four months to complete, but it is a wonderful heirloom for my husband and I that we cherish! If you are looking for a gorgeous statement piece for your home, keep scrolling!

This might be my favorite of the blankets on this list! This pattern from Made by Anita Crochet has such beautiful designs on it! I especially love the little gingerbread men!
