Cozy Fall Baby Crochet Patterns You’ll Love This Autumn

Unless this little girl decided to keep us all waiting a bit longer, I’m probably snuggled up with my newborn baby as you’re reading this.

If that’s the case, you’ll have to forgive me for writing this post a little ahead of time. Fall has always been one of my favorite seasons to crochet, and with a brand-new baby joining our family right around the busiest crochet season of the year, I wanted to give myself a little breathing room.

Thankfully, crochet patterns don’t mind being planned in advance.

After spending most of the summer trying not to rush the seasons (despite pumpkin displays showing up everywhere and my crochet hooks getting a little eager to start fall early), it feels especially fun to finally lean into all the cozy autumn projects.

Whether you’re crocheting for your own little one, making a thoughtful baby shower gift, or adding a few handmade pieces to your craft fair booth, there’s just something special about tiny hats, warm blankets, cuddly loveys, and sweet little outfits in rich fall colors.

So I gathered some of my favorite fall baby crochet patterns all in one place. From cozy blankets and adorable clothing to soft toys and seasonal accessories, there’s a little something here for every crocheter—and every tiny baby you’ll be stitching for this autumn.

If you’re still deciding what yarn to use for your next baby project, be sure to check out my guide to Choosing the Best Yarn for Baby Crochet. I share my favorite fibers for blankets, hats, clothing, and toys so you can pick the right yarn with confidence.
